Kylie Padilla wrote a lengthy post describing how she feels now that we're facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Kapuso actress, she found a perfect time to share her thoughts on her platform.
Kylie started her post by admitting she was in panic when she initially heard about the outbreak.
"I have not been in a peaceful state since the virus caused lockdowns in China.
"As a zombie apocalypse enthusiast I think I was one of the first to panic, being overexposed to what happens during a viral outbreak has either over prepared me or put me in a state of a little bit of over the top panic."
However, Kylie said that when it disappeared, she began feeling amazed by the kindness and generosity of Filipinos.
"Honestly I am amazed at the kindness, generosity and unity I see in us Filipinos during this time.
"It is so easy to be swept away by fear but when that subsides you can't help but appreciate the smallest things."
Kylie mentioned that now is the best time to be selfless and offer help.
"When you see someone doing something brave and selfless you in return are given the strength to do the same.
"Now more than ever, is the time to be helpful to those in need. Even in the smallest way we can.
"Like staying home and practicing basic hygiene principles. We are not alone and we are all DOING THIS TOGETHER."
The Kapuso star also added that she went to the grocery with her husband, Aljur Abrenica.
During that time, she witnessed a small gesture of humanity which saved her.
"My husband and I went for a grocery run and I being the kind of worrier that I am, was staring out of the car window, I didn't notice a man watering his plants beside us. He smiled and waved at me. I was caught off guard. But this small gesture of humanity saved me."
She continued, "This small kindness that assured me people don't need to be superheroes to help people.
"That man without knowing it, reassured me of the goodness in people. 1 act of kindness, of careful consideration, of love from one person will result in a ripple of people wanting to do the same thing.
"I know that it will take more than that to combat this BUT knowing that it can help and giving each other light and positivity during this time has power of it's own."
Kylie encouraged everyone to give help in any form during this trying times.
"So help in anyway that you can. For now, if all you can do is stay home and prevent the spread of the virus, do it. If you can donate, donate. If you can practice positivity, spread that light.
"We must help each other through this. We have the power, small acts in millions is one large impact."
Lastly, she said, "Stay strong. Stay healthy, mentally, physically and spiritually and stay smart. BIG HUG."
